Sourcing Specialist

What are we looking for: 

We’re searching for a Sourcing Specialist who can implement creative strategies to source qualified talent. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the recruitment team by implementing sourcing strategies and proactively sourcing candidates for vacant positions. 

This position requires flexibility, organization, strong time management skills, attention to detail, and an innate commitment to meet crucial deadlines. The candidate who goes above and beyond will see enormous room for growth in this role.

This role is 100% work from home.

In this role, you will:

• Implement sourcing strategies and source qualified candidates in a designated functional area
• Be responsible for being the first point of contact for candidates, delivering exceptional candidate care and ensuring that candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion in the recruitment process
• Proactively source passive and active talents through social channels, job boards, ATS, and other creative avenues to create pre-qualified talent pools in line with the organization’s workforce plans
• Present screened, qualified candidates to recruiters in consideration for critical hiring needs
• Maintain timely and accurate information on all candidate interactions in the database
• Maintain contact with existing talent pool candidates to obtain and capture up to date market intelligence and briefing them on potential current and future opportunities
• Conduct background checks on candidates chosen by recruiters

About You:

Core qualifications:

• At least 2 years of sourcing or talent acquisition experience in an agency or corporate setting
• Familiarity  sourcing on LinkedIn or other sourcing database and tools (e.g., Indeed, OnlineJobs, GlassDoor)
• Hands-on experience with ATS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively present the company to the candidates
