A Payroll Analyst is a vital part of any organization, responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of payroll operations. 

They ensure that all employees receive proper and timely remuneration for their work. They often serve as a liaison between the human resources, finance departments, and employees, ensuring smooth communication and effective problem resolution.

Payroll Analysts are responsible for verifying and processing payroll transactions, calculating and reviewing payroll information, and preparing and maintaining payroll records. Additionally, they reconcile payroll accounts, process garnishments, and deductions, and respond to inquiries from employees and management.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our team and oversee our payroll operations. 

The Payroll Analyst will verify and process payroll transactions, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and provide accurate payroll information to employees and management. 

The ideal candidate must have a critical and strategic mindset and the ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.

• Verify and process payroll transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Calculate and review payroll information, including wages, taxes, and deductions.
• Prepare and maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Process garnishments, deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
• Respond to inquiries from employees and management regarding payroll matters.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including payroll summaries and tax reports.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in preparing the annual payroll budget and forecasting.
• Assist in preparing year-end reports, including W-2 and 1099 forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to payroll administration.

• Compliance with all applicable payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in payroll administration.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience with payroll software and systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
