We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Health Information Management Specialist to join our team!

The Health Information Management Specialist will monitor, analyze, and maintain health information data, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and implement strategies for data quality improvement.

• Monitor, analyze, and report health information data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain health information systems, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and security.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to health information management and privacy.
• Evaluate and analyze health information technology, including electronic health record systems, to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure the accuracy and integrity of health information data.
• Investigate and analyze current and past health information to support research, quality improvement initiatives, and decision-making processes.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to health information management.
• Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Train and mentor staff in using health information technology systems and best practices.
• Develop and implement strategies for data quality improvement, including data validation, standardization, and data governance.
