Freight Forwarder

A Freight Frwarder is an individual that specializes in managing the transportation and logistics of goods. They act as an intermediary between businesses and carriers to ensure shipments are efficiently delivered from the point of origin to the final destination.

Freight Forwarders book transportation routes, manage customs documentation and ensure goods are delivered on time. They coordinate with shipping companies, airlines, and other service providers, providing businesses with a streamlined and cost-effective way to move their products globally.

We’re looking for a Freight Forwarder who’ll be at the heart of efficient logistics, ensuring goods move smoothly from point A to point B!

In this role, you'll take charge of coordinating shipments, managing carriers, and overseeing the entire transportation process. Your expertise will help businesses save time and reduce costs while navigating the complexities of international shipping, customs regulations, and more.

• Handling insurance claims for damaged or lost shipments
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries promptly
• Analyzing transportation data to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborating with other team members to streamline processes
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
• Staying informed about industry trends and regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Freight Forwarder or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and procedures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
• Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
• Certification in freight forwarding or logistics is a plus
