As an AWS Big Data Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient Big Data solutions on the AWS platform. Your role will involve analyzing and processing large, complex datasets, optimizing data storage and querying operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading a team of engineers.

• Design and implement efficient and scalable Big Data solutions using AWS services and technologies.
• Analyze and process large, complex datasets to extract valuable insights and support business objectives.
• Develop strategies for optimizing data storage, processing, and querying operations, considering performance, cost, and scalability factors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts, and business teams, to understand their requirements and ensure the successful implementation of Big Data solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development process, addressing technical challenges and ensuring timely resolution.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Big Data and AWS services, and continuously apply that knowledge to improve our solutions.
• Document and report on Big Data solutions' performance and outcomes, providing stakeholders with insights and recommendations.

• Improve the accuracy and speed of data processing, storage, and querying operations.
• Successfully lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring project objectives and high-quality deliverables are achieved.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Big Data technologies and AWS services.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AWS Big Data services, such as Amazon EMR, Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, etc.
• Proven problem-solving ability and troubleshooting complex Big Data challenges, demonstrating a deep understanding of data processing frameworks, distributed computing, and data storage systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and implementing data engineering and integration solutions.
