E-commerce Fulfillment Specialist

An eCommerce Fulfillment Specialist oversees all order fulfillment processes within an online retail operation. This includes receiving, processing, packing, shipping, and delivering orders. 

They work to ensure that products are efficiently and accurately delivered from a warehouse to customers' doors, ensuring a smooth and timely experience for the customer.

An eCommerce Fulfillment Specialist's job entails coordinating and executing multiple facets of order fulfillment. 

They work with inventory management systems to track stock levels, process customer orders, prepare packing lists and shipping labels, and ensure orders are packed correctly and shipped out on time. They liaise with delivery services to coordinate pickups and deliveries and handle customer inquiries related to shipping and delivery. 

They may also be involved in handling returns, processing refunds, and maintaining records of all transactions. Furthermore, they work to identify and resolve any issues in the fulfillment process, aiming to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction continually.

• Execute inbound and outbound order fulfillment processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers
• Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize order fulfillment delays and errors
• Track and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability and reduce stockouts
• Analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in order fulfillment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency
• Monitor and maintain the health of the eCommerce platform, addressing any issues related to form accuracy and error resolution
• Work closely with third-party suppliers and customers to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any issues or inquiries
• Develop and document processes, procedures, and best practices related to order fulfillment
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in eCommerce fulfillment

• Achieve high order accuracy and on-time delivery rates
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and carrying costs
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues within agreed service levels
• Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through efficient and reliable order fulfillment

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational fulfillment, operations, or distribution
• Proven track record of managing third-party logistics (3PL) relationships and solving complex problems
• Strong understanding of eCommerce order processing, packaging, and shipping systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
